Hades from Supergiant Games is the rogue-like that converted skeptics of the genre. You play as Zagreus, the rebellious son of Hades, battling through procedurally arranged chambers of the Greek Underworld in a desperate bid to reach the surface and find your missing mother. Each escape attempt showers you with boons from Olympian gods — Zeus, Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, and more — whose powers combine in wildly creative ways.

The combat is blisteringly fast and endlessly replayable. Six distinct weapons, each with four hidden aspects, ensure that no two runs feel the same. Die, and you are sent back to the House of Hades, where an evolving narrative unfolds through hundreds of unique voice lines.
